Hilla hood combines two favourite accessories for winter: a balaclava and a neck warmer. The hood is knitted with 5,5 mm needles holding two yarns together. Silk mohair makes the hood soft and fluffy. The hood is worked from top down in half-twisted rib by first creating a square for the top of the head. Then stitches are picked up along the sides of the square and the hood is worked back and forth until the chin is reached, where it is joined in the round. Along the way, the hood is shaped with increases and decreases to create a flattering shape around the neck and shoulders before it is divided between the front and the back. To finish, a classic 1x1 rib is worked around the face opening.

The pattern is in English. The pattern is digital and will be forwarded to your email as a PDF-file for download.
